Responsibilities:
• Be part of a highly motivated team of SOC analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Develop and implement SOC policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Analyze security alerts and incidents, prioritizing and escalating threats as needed.
• Oversee the investigation and remediation of security incidents, adhering to established protocols.
• Manage and maintain SOC technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Continuously improve SOC processes and procedures, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements.
• Design, implement, and manage advanced security controls and architectures.
• Analyze security incidents and implement effective incident response strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security threats and trends.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain documentation for security policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a senior cyber security role.
• Proven experience in managing a Security Operations Center.
• Proven experience in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Industry-recognized security certification will be preferred (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, CISA, CEH, etc.).
